high_z

This test case checks the capability of evolving high metallicity models through core helium depletion with a 7 Msun, Z=0.07 metallicity model.

This test case has 2 parts. Click to see a larger version of a plot.

  • Part 1 (inlist_zams) creates a 7 Msun, Z=0.07 metallicity, pre-main sequence model and evolves it to the zero-age main sequence.

  • Part 2 (inlist_high_z) continues the evolution until the central helium mass fraction drops below 1e-6:
